The day after the full moon party was pretty calm. The island became pretty quiet since a lot of people were leaving to their next destination. I still had one more night left before heading to the next island. I ended up getting breakfast/lunch and resting.

The next day I had to check out. I already purchased my ferry ticket to take me to Koh Tao, which I was very excited for. I still had a few hours to kill before the ferry. It became habitual to book my accommodation the day of going somewhere new, because it was that easy in South East Asia. Silly me though, I didn’t really think it through that most people would be going to Koh Tao after Koh Phangan(full moon party). As I was looking for accommodation, everything was booked completely full, except some $$$ villas or $100 a night in a 12 bed dorm, no thank you. The ferry tickets were un refundable unfortunately and I came to the conclusion that I would just have to skip it and stay on Koh Phangan. I went out for some lunch and was disappointed but still kind of searching for accommodations .

(felt like some “western food”, had a burger for lunch)

While having some lunch, this popped up. I was shocked, thinking it was fake or a scam. It wasn’t the best and/or worse rating and it was surprisingly very cheap! I booked it for 2 nights because I knew I wanted to visit Koh Tao. Plus my friends Najwa and Caroline were also there. I ended up getting on the ferry for my next journey. 🙂

I arrived at my hostel and was not disappointed in the slightest. I don’t know how I got so lucky finding this place, the rooms were pretty decent but the location was amazing. Right on the beach with cute sitting areas.
