Amersfoort Museum

After all the time I spent in Amersfoort, I figured I should know a bit more about it. A short bike ride away and I arrived at the Amersfoort Museum.

They had history about the town, the war, and an art gallery. I tried my best to use my camera to google translate because the English pamphlet I was given didn’t provide all the information.

Lastly, was their cute Lego section of all the historical buildings in Amersfoort.

After I finished at the museum, I had planned to go out and try some Dutch food, Bitterballens in particular. As I was walking around town I also noticed a building that was showcased in the museum. 

The bitterballens were interesting, I didn’t hate them but I didn’t necessarily like them. They were very flavorful but the texture was throwing me off. The inside was all meat based but cooked in a way that it was very soft, and then they deep fried it to make the outside crunchy.
