The Netherlands was beautiful but expensive. I think that’s also why I enjoyed staying in and cooking for myself. Vera had some free time so we planned to go out for dinner and dancing. She actually took me to her work for dinner because 1.it had really good food and 2.we got a little discount. We took the bikes out(they’re more commonly used than cars) and made our way to her work. It was a lovely day and then it started spitting.
We arrived in time to not get wet from the rain, and oh my god the food was amazing.
After dinner we ended up going to Vera’s friend’s house, Anouk. She was super sweet and we all got ready to go out later. I think from South East Asia a lot of bars or clubs would play EDM music. I really enjoyed it compared to back in Canada. People actually danced and enjoyed the moment. We planned to go to two different places that night, one with “techno” music and one with “drum and bass”. These places aren’t that common in Canada, you can only find clubs with horrible DJ’s/music playing. Anyways it was a fun night dancing with the girls.
Vera was imitating how the Wii characters would jump/dance in the game.😂
Very fun night!
Vera was making fun of how in Koh Tao it was a must to go watch a fire show every night.
