(February 18th)Monday I got to explore the University Dan teaches at. Liverpool University is based in the UK but they also have one here in Suzhou that is an international school so all the classes are in English. By 3rd year if the students grades are good enough and they pass an exam they can transfer over to study in the UK. When I saw the University the first thing that came to my mine was – minecraft. The buildings pattern are very blocky and different tones of colours which is very much like minecraft.
Haruko came with me to show me how to get to the University, and we met up with Dan for lunch time. I picked a little resturant to go to which was a hot spot for the french students. Hearing people speak french in China was so weird. The food was to die for it was a good pick I got a pumpkin chicken salad and of course a latte.
They had many cool features on their campus. They have a tunnel connecting the south and north campus and its filled with paintings that clubs do to promote it. Also in good weather there was an outdoor seating arrangement on the water I liked.
