Yes, you read the title correctly. They have cheese tea here and it’s a very popular drink. My first thought was like cheddar flavoured tea and it didn’t seem good. But I didn’t realize that it’s cream cheese they put on top to mix into your choice of hot or cold tea.
It personally doesn’t appeal to me tasting and feeling the cream cheese and then the hot tea in my mouth but hey, at least I can say I’ve had cheese tea.
This was at the Suzhou Centre after my day at the Chinese garden. Instead of dinner me and Lloyd just had small snacks. Funny story: there are two different kind of dumplings, I guess there’s the normal ones and soup ones that have a liquid you have to drink before biting into it too much. I thought we were having the normal ones, if I knew they were soup I would’ve ate it more carefully. Anyways I took a normal bite and right when I did Lloyd said “careful!” while the soup burst out everywhere. It also only really got on Lloyd which I feel bad about but it was funny afterwards.
