(May 22nd) This was the day that I got to go to a little introduction meeting for the tour. Everyone was suppose to be there to get all the information for the next morning and also just to mingle and meet other people. It was only about 5-10 minutes long and then everyone could head back to their hotel/hostel.(there was a hotel that was discounted for our group so most people stayed there but I was the only one that chose a different place to stay). A big chunk of the girls that were at the meeting and I ended up going out to grab some dinner together. We thought it would be a good idea and fun to get to know each other and just hangout. After dinner we all just kept talking but since it was getting late and also was pretty cold people started to head back. There was about 6 or 7 of us left and we all decided to walk to the “adult” playground that was close by. It was dark by then but we just wanted to check it out. Me and two other girls decided to go down a huge enclosed swirly slide that was there. It was so fun and I was kind of scared we were going to get stuck inside(thankfully we didn’t).
When we were finished at the park we all wanted to go home and get prepared for the next day. All of them were staying back at the hotel but I was going to my hostel in the opposite direction. I said my goodbyes and said I had to go back to my hostel they were all like “what? No you can’t walk alone! We can all walk you back together”. They were so kind, I literally just met them but already felt like it was going to be a good trip with caring people in the group. All of them walked with me to make sure I got back to my hostel safely and then walked all the way back to their hotel. It was a good walk to just talk some more and get to know them all.
