Technically I was in Surfers paradise but still being there was paradise. I got the day to go out to view a few things. First, I went to the sky point observation tower which was a 360 viewing point of Brisbane. It was such a beautiful view and the people on the beach were so small. They looked like ants and it just put into perspective how small we really are. There are 8 billion people in the world and everyone gets so caught up on the tiniest problems in their lives, forgetting there are probably millions of other people going through the same thing.
After that I went to the infinity attraction which was recommended as something to do in brisbane. It looked really cool from the photos and what I read. There were parts that I absolutely loved and it was amazing what they put together but other parts I dreared. Some rooms mimiked a haunted house. Before going in there were signs listing off that nothings going to jump out at you and that it’s all up to your imagination. The rooms were always dark with flashing lights here and there and the whole time I just wanted to get the hell out of there. They had fake arms on the wall and stuff hanging from the ceiling that felt like hair and other weird things. Even though I read the sign, my mind was still getting ahead of itself saying what iff there’s something in here and I can’t see. I somehow ended up back at the entrance of the room and a girl jumped out at me and screamed which didn’t help calm me down. There was no going back either. I had to go through the scary room again and try to find the door to the next room.
Overall it was a good experience and well worth it.
After that crazy experience I wanted to go to the beach but of course when I saw a cat cafe I had to go in. It was well worth it as well.
By the time I made it to the beach the sky was getting cloudy and dark and it ended up raining soon after. So no swimming that day but still a fun day.
