This hike was actually easier than the one I did yesterday with more even walking ground and less incline hills. However, the surrounding nature was better in my opinion. It was such a hot, fun time and I really enjoyed chatting with Lucy a lot.
Lots of sweating and pictures later…
We finished up the hike and hopped in the much needed cars with AC. Next stop was going into town to watch something interesting. They had a huge section on the town set up for a carnival and a “build your own raft race” going on. We split up for some window shopping but all ended up relaxing by the river. I don’t know what it was but I was always in the mood for icecream. It was a combination of the heat and just for it being so tasty.

We stopped in early to a restaurant to secure a spot to see the rafts go by. Got some snacks and waited for the race to begin. It was hilarious, the rafts were actually made pretty well but with different themes. There were pirate ships, the olympics, a boxing ring, a banana, and more. It was very entertaining. I can’t even explain it, but it made sense that this event was held in America. Felt very American.

After the long day we headed back to the tiny home. A bunch of them wanted to go to some hot springs, but I honestly didn’t want to burden my wallet even more. It was quite expensive for entry for not a lot of time. Thankfully Lucy wasn’t interested in going as well, so we both got to relax and hangout while the others went back out.

When everyone got back it was pretty late and we didn’t want to start up a fire. However, we wanted s’mores. So some interesting cooking happened.

After the smores we all got ready for bed and hit the hay.
