Next up: visiting Luciel and Lizzy. I met them in Chiang Mai as my hostel roommates and we also continued up to Pai together. Of course, I stayed in Pai wayy longer than them but we had hung out for about 5 days. They were both back to work or school and they hadn’t seen each other since Thailand. I found that funny but they said they had spent a lot/too much time together constantly so they needed space. Which I understand. So it was a reunion for all of us. I met Luciel first in the late afternoon and she took me around shopping.

I bought another long sleeve top because the weather was getting to me. We shopped for about an hour and a half which was fun but also a pass time until Lizzy got off work to come meet us. Once we were all together we had to figure out where to go for dinner. Once again everything was pretty pricey but we found a ramen restaurant that was a little bit more reasonable. It was worth it.

The restaurant was pretty packed and we had to wait awhile for our food but honestly it was perfect because it gave us time to talk and catch up on everything. It was such a coincidence that we all met in Thailand and were reminiscing about it over dinner when we saw a couple walk in both wearing the Thailand elephant pants. Almost every tourist has a pair but you never actually see them wearing it out and about once back home.

We took a little stroll after dinner but it was getting late and we all still had to train home. We said our goodbyes, I was so happy I got to see them and be able to do something like this.
