After my relaxing day at the Lagoon I had some fun planned for the night. Kelsey, Morgan, and I all wanted to partake in paramotoring and booked a sunset time slot. We got picked up from our hostel and made our way to the take off area.

We made it to the site, ready to sign our lives away in waivers, and then got asked “who’s first?” 😂 I volunteered. It wasn’t quite sunset yet but nevertheless the experience was fun.

Even after confirming multiple times on a weight limit and safety before booking, Kelsey was denied to go on. It was a bummer because she was given the okay, got all excited, and then denied once we got to the site. Very annoying experience.

Time for take off! Honestly I was thinking I might die while we were lifting off the ground, because it was all wonky from the wind, but once up in the air I felt safe and steady.
The views were amazing. Being over the mountains looking down was fun.
Anddd I landed! Still alive. 🙂
I hopped out and then Morgan took my place. See ya!

After all was said and done, our tuk tuk driver took us back to the place where we booked the paramotoring. Some words were had with the guy working but honestly I think he didn’t really care and didn’t have the best customer service. He kept repeating that HE was told by others that there would be no weight issue, basically not taking any blame on himself. Kelsey and I were also looking into booking a hot air balloon and we settled with him giving her a refund of the difference between the two excursions. It was quite the hassle honestly. But we got a sunrise hot air balloon trip booked for the next morning.

Since we went before sunset to the paramotoring, we ended up finding a rooftop bar to watch the sunset with some drinks. It ended up being a very quiet spot and the sunset behind the mountain range made some beautiful lighting in the sky.

We were there until dark just chatting away about life, and then we got to see some lanterns being released into the sky.

Afterwards I grabbed a quick bite to eat, some fried dumplings, before heading back to the hostel for the night.
