We were all trying to plan our next steps in our travels. Morgan and I had decided to extend our stay for 2 more nights. I would’ve been rushing my stay in Nong Khiaw if I left to go meet up with my friends in Vang Vieng. Plus, as much as I loved them all, I got so use to solo travelling and being on my own time that being in a group was a little exhausting. I wanted an extra day for myself to relax and catch up on reading, journaling, etc. Kelsey and Thibaut stayed one night and then took a van to Vang Vieng.
We were all so tired from the tour. We got Laos massages and packed our things for the night. Plus we found the cutest puppies on the street, and their mom.
The next morning, Kelsey and Thibaut left early, and I had the whole day in Nong Khiaw with Morgan. We ended up doing our own things during the day which is what I wanted, and then met up in the evening. We also got to revisit the puppies we found the night before.
I enjoyed my day, just catching up on my journal, reading, and also looking into flights… 🙂
I met up with Morgan around 5:30 to watch the sunset from a rooftop bar.
We spent the rest of the night just packing up for the next day, and then got a late dinner.
