A bunch of us from the hostel wanted to do something all together. One of the main nature attractions in Luang Prabang was a cascading waterfall. We all split on a tuk tuk to take us, there was about 9 of us. There were 5 of us from the Pai group and then 4 newcomers we met at the hostel. We got dropped off and had a small walk to the actual waterfalls. They had a small zoo with a couple bears roaming around.
As we kept walking there were more and more pools from the cascading waterfall that you could swim in. We stopped at the first one because it was so hot out and we all needed to cool down. The water was so cold but it felt so refreshing. It was absolutely beautiful where we were, and we got there early enough that it wasn’t crowded at all.
We all had so much fun just swimming around the waterfall or lounging on rocks. We were in the swimmable area but the main waterfall was restricted.
Plus, so many group photos for memories. 🙂

After swimming and hanging out for a couple hours we headed back to the tuk tuk. Everyone heard about buffalo ice cream, and there was a shop that wasn’t too far out of the way on the way back to the hostel. It was so creamy and delicious, perfect way to end the day out.

We got back to the hostel in the afternoon to relax, shower, and rest. We had some plans in the evening… back to the bowling alley!

PS. A tribute video to Momo of us saying Albania.
