As we were stopping to pick/drop off people, there were a bunch of kids by the side of the river. They were really cute, and I think they found out something to make the travellers on the boat laugh. One kid ended up giving the middle finger and everyone burst out laughing.
The slow boat the second day was more chill, everyone was napping or doing their own thing. There was also a lot of locals, I feel like we picked up a whole bus full of teenage boys. There was no space on the boat but they somehow all squished in the back somewhere. Anyways we finally made it to Luang Prabang!
It was so exciting to arrive in Luang Prabang because a bunch of us from Pai were going to meet back up here. We all checked into the hostel; funny riverside. It was such a nice place, the best feature was the huge common area/patio by the river.
We all went out to the food night market and got some goood food. Spent the night hanging out and playing games at the hostel.
