The Blue Temple

Onto the next place, everything was blue. These temples being all one solid and bold colour are very cool to the eye for me.

The outside was beautiful with a bold blue colour and gold enhancements. The inside was stunning, with such small details, paintings, and a huge white Buddha.

We had to catch a bus around 3 pm, so we headed back to our hostels to get ready. We did have time to stop in the jazz restaurant again but this time for food. I loved the atmosphere of the place but I made the mistake of getting a ceasar salad. I was craving western food, but it was not good.😅

It was time to say goodbye to my hostel and also Thailand. We got our bags and headed to the bus stop.

Kelsey and I hopped on the bus and it was only us and a few locals. The bus could’ve seen better days. 😅

Later on the bus ride, the driver pulled over and told us this is where we get off. We were a little confused because on our maps we were still a bit far from the border. He told us a tuk tuk would take us from here, and so we moved our bags onto the tuk tuk and continued on.

We finally made it to the border right at sunset and it was completely empty. But ending the post here since it’s a long one!
