I decided I had to at least see a few temples while in Bangkok. The Grand Palace was about a 25 minute walk away from my hostel and I decided to go for it. I figured once I was over there, there were other temples close by to visit afterwards. Again, it was around 40 degrees and for temples I had to cover up my knees and shoulders. I ended up wearing some very lightweight pants and a t-shirt and boiled alive. The walk there was hot but I still enjoyed seeing the city along the way.

Once I arrived at the temple, I was already sweating my butt off. The temple itself was insanely massive and mostly outside since a lot of the buildings were restricted. It was beautiful though, I couldn’t believe my eyes, with all the details in everything I walked by.

Just wow, plus I’m a sparkle girl so it made it that much more beautiful.

So much walking… I kept walking what felt like forever and the temple complex just kept going. I don’t even think I saw half of it because I was running out of steam and needed to cool down. I spent a good hour or two there before I decided to head out.

The walk back was hot but very nice. I had planned to visit another temple but I was too hot to even consider it. I ended up doing some shopping/browsing while walking back to the hostel. Later that night I went back to the road of vendors and got this soup, that basically was a soup version of pad Thai.
