I fell in love with Koh Tao, which is no surprise because everyone tends to love Koh Tao. It was such a small island with everything you would want. I ended up staying for 2 more nights because this was my last island before heading to Bangkok, then to the North of Thailand. I wanted to soak up the last few beach days.

The next couple days were filled with the swimming, shopping, partying, fire shows, sunsets, and of course food. I spent time with Caroline, Najwa, Vera, and met so many other new people I can call friends now. I met Shak, Alfie, and Izzy one night, and it was so fun because we ended up bumping into eachother later on in North Thailand a bunch.

I had such a diverse time on Koh Tao but I wouldn’t change it. From rest beach days to partying in the jungle. Also, they do have an event called “jungle party” and they taxi you in open back trucks to the jungle where they have 4 small stages blasting different music.

As sad as I am to leave the hot and sunny south of Thailand, I’m also very excited to start my venture to the north. I’m going to miss the sun kissed look from being on the beaches almost 24/7. But up next is Bangkok! I checked out of my private room, which I got as a treat to myself, and headed to the pier. It was a long ride with a boat and bus to get to Bangkok.
