Day of the full moon party! I had a nice beach day before getting ready later. Grabbed an onigiri from 7/11 and headed to the beach.
After a few hours in the sun I treated myself to some fresh coconut icecream.
I had some Pad see ew for dinner, so good.😊 
Around 8 pm my hostel had free paint to do yourself. I knew a bunch of people going to the full moon party but didn’t know anyone at the hostel yet. I ended up meeting Caroline, we clicked right away and ended up going to the party together. My artistic side came out when painting myself, and I ended up being the artist for many other people.

We got to the party which was held on Haad Rin beach, about 5 minutes away. It was a bit overwhelming but once you got through the entrance and closer to the water it cleared up. The beach was lined with bars blasting different music all the way down. They had little fire shows set up every where as well.

I ended up meeting Najwa and some of her friends later, after sharing our live locations with one another. It was an enjoyable night with good company. 🙂 What made it better is that I was safe all night and didn’t get anything stolen/lose anything. You wouldn’t believe the stories of some people the next morning.. apparently over 100 reports of lost phones. Plus, if you think about it it’s the best place to pick pocket drunk tourists so a lot of people were unlucky/not careful enough with their belongings. Cheers to having only good memories from that night!
