Since I only had a few days in Dalat, I really had to cram in the things I wanted to do. Today was another jam packed day with a cute cafe, local food, the crazy house, and the fairytale land. Someone recommended a place called “Still Cafe” and as soon as I saw the pictures online I knew I had to go. I ended up spending the day sightseeing with Samatar, from London.
My favourite childhood movies: Totoro and Spirted Away. It was a cute little place and very nostalgic. Next stop: finding food.
We ended up at this little restaurant that had a type of dish I’ve seen around, no idea what it was, but I knew I wanted to try it.
10/10 would recommend whatever I ate. 🙂
Afterwards we ended up going to a place called Fairytale Land. I had no idea about it until the morning of when I was researching “top things to do in Dalat”. The pictures reminded me of the shire, from the hobbit.
That was the main area that instantly made me think of the shire, it was cool. Each hole had different decorations inside as well.
After exploring around, they had a little wine cellar that gave little samples of each wine. Some were pretty good, and some were not my taste at all haha. We headed back out to go visit the crazy house. Let me tell you.. it was crazy. I saw some pictures of it beforehand but going in person was more breathtaking. The architecture was just mind boggling. It deserves its own post. 🙂
