At last, my time in Hoi An had to come to an end at some point. My last day there before catching a bus was spent getting some food and relaxing by the pool soaking in the sun.
I consider myself a patient person but oh my goodness this one bus ride tested it. We got picked up late and got settled into our seats on the sleeper bus. Not even 10 minutes later the worker comes and starts poking everyone saying come, come. I couldn’t figure out if we needed our stuff but I got off then realized we were transferring vehicles? I had to go back grab everything, and put it on a new vehicle, but it was a minivan and not a sleeper bus.. More than 20 minutes go by of us driving around, we picked up another girl, and then they dropped us all off at a random bus place. Due to us already being on the sleeper bus in the beginning they already took our tickets, and it made everything that much more confusing at the new bus station. No organization on their part.🤣 Another hour goes by! Of us just standing in a random parking lot waiting for a bus to come. It finally did and of course I got stuck with the top bunk. After awhile on the bus, I was about to go to sleep, but then all the lights turned on and the worker came around opening everyone’s privacy curtains and telling them to go. I really didn’t like him.😅 We couldn’t understand each other but it doesn’t mean you’re allowed to just yell and poke people. There was a guy that was fast asleep and the worker was basically slapping him to get him to wake up and get off the bus. Again, I didn’t know if we needed to bring all of our stuff. I brought it incase, but apparently we were just stopping for food.🥲 Just overall such an annoying experience but in the end I did get a very yummy soup. So I’m happy. End of rant haha.
I arrived in Dalat by 6 am, and decided to walk to my hostel which was a 30 minute walk. But it gave me some sightseeing time of the city when it was just waking up. 🙂
