This was such a hilarious, heart warming experience. For 100,000 dong ($5) you got a meal and the duck tour. Unfortunately because of my whole face/lip situation, I didn’t really feel like eating would be good. They were very insistent that you had to get the combo, but I guess I made them pity me enough, that I paid 100,000 for 2 beers and the duck tour.😅
Before heading over to the duck farm, they showed us around the area where they grew a variety of different things. I didn’t even know this was included but it was pretty interesting. There was peppercorn, turmeric, ginger, jackfruit, etc. After that came the real fun. They gave us traditional Vietnamese hats to wear and sandals.

My absolute favourite part was the synchronization of their heads/necks going up and down for the food. It was hilarious and so cute. Everyone in the group was having a blast, and it was overall such a happy experience. After feeding them they made us all sit on a bench and take our shoes off, we couldn’t predict why. But it was very ticklish..
The worker took a slow mo video of us feeding the ducks so the picture quality is not good, but still good memories.
After the duck stop it was time to make our way back before dark. The girls and I stopped for some dinner and called it a night. 🙂
