Honestly after finishing the Ha Giang Loop I realized how exhausted I was from all the constant travelling and getting over being sick. I arrived around 2am in a sleeper bus. Thankfully one of the couples from my tour was going to the exact same place, so we all walked about 10 minutes over to the hostel. It wasn’t the hostel I wanted to spend my time at in Sapa so I only booked it for the night because it was so close to the bus station. The first hostel did have the cutest kittens roaming around the reception area, so that was a plus.
The next morning, I checked out and decided to go for a stroll in Sapa to find some food. The weather was pretty nice in Sapa except for the most crazy wind gusts.
Later I grabbed all my luggage and headed over to my other hostel where I stayed for 2 nights. It was on the side of the mountain and had amazing views.
The next morning I had chicken pho and Vietnamese coffee for breakfast, solid combo.
I spent most of the day relaxing in my bed or the hostels lounge common area. I felt like I had to do something, so I took a stroll through the city to look at shops and also food. Since I washed basically all my clothes I only had my nice skirt left to wear. It ended up being lovely and felt like I took myself on a cute date.
I spent my night doing some henna, and later met some people who recognized me from one of the sleeper buses. We spent the night sipping tea, playing cards, and sharing our life stories.
