(May 27th) While we were staying in Queenstown there were a lot of add ons you could choose to do but for some of us who didn’t have much to spend (aka me) we ended up finding free things to do around the town. Me and three others (hannah, caity, and patrick) walked the Queenstown Hill to get a view of the town. First of all, just getting to the start of the trail was such a workout. The roads leading up to it were so steep it would be perfect for skiing down if there was snow.
At night a big group of us went to a place called Cookie Time, it was a recommendation from our tour guide, Josh. One of my new friends, Liza, and I couldn’t decide to get a milkshake or the cookies, so we decided to split both. Once we got everything we realized ANOTHER cookie came on top of the milkshake it was crazy but well worth it.
Our big group decided to stop at a liquor store to get some drinks, because in Queenstown its legal to drink in public before 8pm. We walked around town a bit and found a little spot to relax and played some fun little drinking games.
