We made our way from Milford Sound to Queenstown, also known as the party town of New Zealand. We had a long drive and finally got to our hostel which was my first pod hostel. It had 8 beds in a room but each bed was like its own little room with lights, air conditioning, and it had a blind that closed you in to your little cocoon.
There were a few add ons that people had booked before our night out as a big group. While I was waiting I ended up going out with two friends I made( Hannah and Mikayla) to walk around town, grab some dinner, and we ended up going to a silent disco. It was sooo fun, there were a few different channels to choose from for certain genres. We stayed there dancing together until it was time to meet our contiki group at another bar/club.
Being in a club dancing was really fun with a close net group of newly made friends. We all stuck together and even the boys made a hand gesture above your head as an alert so they could come and rescue you if you got lost in the crowd. We all had a great night and in my room it was all 8 girls and it was like a huge slumber party.
