I’m still in awe how beautiful New Zealand was. People kept telling me I had to see the south island because the scenery was so much better, and they were 100% right.
Lake Tekapo was beyond stunning. The water was crystal clear yet had a vibrant baby blue colour that you couldn’t take your eyes off. Also of course the scenery around the lake made it even better being surrounded by mountains. There was also a small church near the waters edge that you could go into. We had plently of time to go on the rock filled beach to take pictures, build inukshuks, and take in the view.
New Zealands own drink: L&P aka good lemoney stuff. We got to get some snacks for the road before we left.
