(March 16th) We made a plan to visit their summer house in the afternoon for a BBQ and then go to the Hiroshima castle after having some dinner. The previous night they asked if I wanted a western or Japanese style breakfast. I love having rice and miso soup in the morning as well at night. So of course I chose to have the Japanese style breakfast.

We had to go shopping for all the food to bring with us for the BBQ. They picked up some soy sauce and it had a full fish in it. After shopping they showed me a local tofu shop and we got some tofu ice cream to try. It had mango sauce on top and I don’t think I would’ve liked it without the mango. Also they had the best payment machines in Japan.
Afterwards we went to an oyster shop which was right by the water so there was a strong fish smell. I got to see the behind scenes of the people working and we got our oysters and left. The road to their summer house was very straight with not many turns so they let me drive the car the rest of the way there.
It was like a big cottage by the water and it was such a cute place. We started preparing for the BBQ and there was so much food.
After lunch we roasted some marshmellows. After cleaning up we picked some vegtables that were growing out front. They looked like a bouquet of flowers.
We headed back and stopped for dinner. I didn’t know at first but it was a resturant that you make your own food with a group. We had Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki. There was so many layers that went on it and I couldn’t finish it after having such a big lunch.
At the end of the day we visited Hiroshima castle. It wasn’t just the castle we went to see but some kind of light/tech show because everywhere were Easter eggs(even though it wasn’t suppose to be for Easter).
