(March 8th) Hiroshi and I took the full day to explore a bit of Tokyo. We went more into the city and took a touring bus with 2 levels. It was such a windy day and we were on the top level so we had to bundle up. They showed us a lot of big attractions in the area. They introduced the Tokyo tower which just looked like the Eiffel tower to me but still very cool. The harmony bridge that we went over actually had two levels that you could drive on which I’ve never seen before.
Also there were two big buildings and it looked like they were attached by a walkway but apparently you can’t walk through it. They measure the intensity of an earthquake and help prevent the buildings from shaking so much.
After that we got to walk around a bit and stopped for some coffee. We actually had a lunch date planned with one of his friends, Tetsuya, who invited me to stay with his family in Hiroshima. After an amazing lunch we got more coffee to chat about my stay with him.
Hiroshi and I went off to explore more by ourselves and ended up getting dessert before dinner. The restaurant had a perfect view of the waterside and the bridge while we ate our yummy desserts.
As we walked through the mall we saw the strangest thing. I swear it was a real person.

Glad to see that down jacket you bought in Suzhou came in handy in Tokyo too! Spring breezes 🙂 Happy travels!!
Yup, it is warming up though so I’m very happy!
