After my second day touring I went out for dinner once again and couldn’t decide where to go. I randomly went into this little noodle resturant that had one table open. They did have an english menu plus pictures so that was nice. The food there was to die for and it was around $5 for my meal. I was alone still because I hadn’t met anyone at the hostel. Near the end of my meal two little boys came over to me and were speaking chinese to me and I just kept smiling and laughing. Their mom called them back over and there was an old lady at the front who knew some english taking care of them. I’m pretty sure she told them how to say noodles in english because they came back over to me a minute later just saying “noodles!” It was so cute and I said “yeah, noodles!” They ran away and then came back and said “hello” to me. It was really funny and I could see the old lady and the workers laughing too.
It’s these little moments that I really cherish on my travels. I love touring and sight seeing but I think the moments meeting new people is very special, even if you can only share smiles with eachother.
