For my last breakfast I got to try the watermelon bread we got the other night. It was very good and pretty realistic besides being a square. Afterwards I got everything ready to go and we left around 8am or so to catch the subway to get to the actual train station. It took around an hour and a bit to reach the station and it felt like I had parents again because they waited until they saw me go through security. It was very sweet. The bullet train from Suzhou-Beijing took about 5 hours. Thankfully, I found my way from the train station on a subway and walking to the hostel really easily.
When I arrived at my hostel I had a 4 mixed dorm room. There was a full room but I didn’t actually get to meet any of them. They came in late that night and I was sleeping and had to get up early the next day for a tour. By the time I got back they had all checked out, I think they were travelling all together.
The rest of my time there I had no other roommates which was actually nice but sad because I did want to meet new people and socialize.

I arrived around dinner time and didn’t really get the chance to eat while travelling to my hostel so I was starving. I found the closest restaurant, it was a dumpling restaurant just down the alley and around the corner. I’m so glad they had pictures or else I wouldn’t have known what to order. Based on the pictures and prices I ordered two dishes but this kind of restaurant you’re suppose to share the dishes. I was by myself so that didn’t happen and since I was so hungry I was able to finish it all by myself. For $13 it was a good meal.
